PEPA

Privacy

Our privacy approach

This is an interim beta privacy notice. PEPA is in early access and evolving, and a full privacy policy will replace this before a wider public launch.

We minimise what we collect

PEPA is designed to collect as little as possible. It only uses what it needs to give you a useful daily picture.

Your data stays on your device

In these early versions, your profile and symptom diary are stored locally on your own device — not on our servers.

No account needed in the prototype

You don't create an account or sign in to use the beta.

No medical diagnosis

PEPA offers general lifestyle information. It does not diagnose, treat, or make medical decisions about you.

We don't sell your personal data

Your personal information is not sold to anyone.

Location is used to estimate local conditions

Your location (such as a postcode or area) is used to estimate the environmental conditions near you — pollen, weather and your local surroundings.

External services for environmental data

To provide conditions, PEPA may use external services and public datasets, such as weather, pollen, air-quality, geocoding or mapping data. Only what's needed to look up conditions for your area is shared with them.

You can delete your local data

You can clear PEPA's data from your device at any time in the app's settings.
