PEPA

How it works

One clear question: how will today affect me?

PEPA brings a few simple things together and explains them in plain English. Here's each part, and how they fit.

  1. 1

    Today's conditions

PEPA looks at the live pollen, weather and air quality for where you are. Wind, rain, humidity and dry spells all change how pollen behaves — so a single number rarely tells the whole story.

  2. 2

    Your home surroundings

PEPA builds a simple picture of the environment around your home — nearby parks, grassland, woodland and open land. Two people in the same town can have quite different surroundings, and that matters.

  3. 3

    Your symptom diary

Each day you can add a quick note of how you felt. It only takes a moment, and over time it becomes your own personal record — the most useful signal PEPA has.

  4. 4

    Days like today

PEPA compares today with past days that had similar conditions, and looks at how you tended to feel on those days. It's a gentle, honest comparison — never a promise about how you'll feel.

  5. 5

    Your daily briefing

Everything comes together in one calm, plain-English briefing each morning: what today looks like, why, and a few practical things you might consider.

  6. 6

    The PEPA Score

A simple daily score out of ten, with the reasons behind it shown clearly. It's a transparent, rules-based estimate you can understand — not a black box, and not a medical measure.

PEPA offers general lifestyle information and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always speak to a pharmacist or GP about your health.
